The neo-liberal conservatism of the West has brought social values into the light thanks to the remarkable financial development in East asian nations, which was achieved under various modalities. These are widely called” Asiatic principles”: discipline, hard work, frugality, educational progress, the importance of relatives, balancing individual and societal needs, and deference to authority. Some watchers claim that these Eastern principles are responsible for East Asia’s remarkable economic growth rates and organized democratic frameworks.

Nonetheless, this debate is generally an internal one. The traditions and traditions that underpin the development of current East Asia are rooted in these traditions. Many of these principles derive from Confucian custom, which views the home as the fundamental social unit under which all other relationships operate.

These principles affect how government functions, how it is organized, and how democratic participation is practiced. Additionally, they have an impact on the nature of the monetary union between East Asia and the West. In a 1994 norms ballot, “accountability of public leaders through empty primaries” was ranked among the highest critical ideals by both American and East Asian respondents. These results suggest that Asiatic values are more in line with East Asian standard values than a rejection of Western liberal politics.

This article aims to provide insight into what these Asian norms mean and how they affect eudaimonic well-being.
